Terms of Service
By commissioning a rug you agree to the following terms. Have questions? Just ask!

General
- ✦I have the right to decline any commission.
- ✦Customer may cancel before work begins.

Payments
- ✦50% deposit is required upfront to cover materials and begin your commission.
- ✦The remaining 50% is due once your rug is finished and ready to ship/pickup.
- ✦No rug is shipped or released until the balance is paid in full.

Revisions
- ✦Your submitted art may require modifications by a team of artists to make it translate well to a rug design. Rug making needs thick, defined line work and tiny details may be hard to capture. You will approve the final revision where applicable.
- ✦Once you approve the final design, the rug will be produced according to that approved design. Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges or extended completion time.
- ✦Modifications cannot be made once the tufting process has begun.
- ✦Depending on yarn availability, color may need approximation.
- ✦All yarn colors will be confirmed with you before any work starts. Your approval is required to proceed.
- ✦Please review color selections carefully, as changes after confirmation may not be possible.
- ✦Minor differences between the reference image(s) and the finished rug may occur.

Deadlines & Delivery
- ✦Commissions can take 1-8 weeks depending on size and complexity.
- ✦If a delay comes up on my end, I will reach out to let you know.
- ✦I prefer not to work under specific deadlines or rush requests, quality takes time!
- ✦You may ask for progress updates, but do not rush me!
- ✦Shipping times vary by location and are in addition to production time.

Refunds
- ✦The 50% deposit is non-refundable once paid, as it covers materials already purchased for your piece.
- ✦If you need to cancel after paying the deposit, you will not be charged the remaining balance.
- ✦If I am unable to complete your rug due to an issue on my end, you will receive a full refund.

Communication
- ✦Your approval of the yarn colors is required before I begin tufting. Slow responses will result in longer delivery times; staying in touch keeps things moving!
- ✦Progress photos will be shared along the way so you can follow your rug coming to life.

Content & Credits
- ✦Rugs are only for personal use - not for commercial use.
- ✦You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any artwork, logos, photographs, characters, trademarks, or other intellectual property provided to me as a part of your commission.
- ✦If your rug appears in a video or public post, a credit or mention in the description is appreciated.
- ✦All designs remain the creative property of the original reference artist.
- ✦I may photograph or record completed rugs for portfolio, advertising, website, and/or social media purposes. You may request that your name or other identifying info not be included.
These terms are here to keep things fair for both of us. If anything is unclear, feel free to reach out before commissioning.
